Rania belongs to our Secertary Lisa who is 30 years old
Rania are also members of the Western Australian Standardbred Breeders Association
Lisa has had Rania since 1994 when he was retiried from racing........ Rania was used for a wedding in Coolgardie not long after Lisa got him in which the bride arrived at the church riding Rania instead of in a car.
Lisa and Rania have competed in local shws in Kalgoorlie, Kambalda and Coolgardie. They have also cmpeted at the Agricultual Show in Northam Western Australia in which they did reasonably well.
Lisa and Rania have won 125 ribbions since she has been showing him. Lisa's proundest moments were when Rania won Champoin Halter Standardbred and Champoin Ridden Standardbred
Rania and Lisa compete in Hacking, Breed Shows and Gymkhanas proving that the Standardbred is a versatile horse adn will give anything a go..........this Pair have often tipped Leeanne and Chevelle in placing in the standardbrred classes adn there is a friendly rivally between Leeanne and Lisa with their standardbred boys.
ania had a bad accident in Niovember 1997 badly cutting his left hind leg which put him out of action until June 1998 when he came back to continue his show career.
Rania was sold to a lving home in Perth where he is being used as a hack until the lady gets to know him better then he is going to take on the Perth show world (good luck Rania) as Lisa has moved onto a new horse a Chestnut Thoroughbred called Pablo Star
