BAY AUSTRALIAN RIDING PONY
13.1 1/2 HH 8 Years old
Bonnie has been with our youngest rider Paul ( our Secretary's son) since November
1998
Bonnie is a station bred pony from a local station here in the Goldfields.
Paul is only 5 years old making him the youngest member of our club. Paul started
in early '98 on a pony called Billy then he got his first pony being Bonnie......These
two have been an inspiration to all of the members including the adults as they have
become a team working really well together.
This year Paul and Bonnie were the overall winners in the led rider 6 years and
under at Ora Banda Race Day. They also won the Sub Junior Barrel Race
They were also winners at the annual Coolgardie Day gymkhana
Bonnie has done very well this year 1999 just tipping Leeanne's mare Spiritual
Secret in the Hi-Point Mare in the In-Hand class and coming Second to
Spiritual Secret in the ridden class Hi-Point Mare
Bonnie is also ridden by Paul's cousin William in the Open Pony Classes
where they have become a winning team.
