A PURE BRED EGYPTIAN ARAB MARE 14.3HH 6 YEARS OLD

Pixie (Spiritual Secret} was given to Leeanne (our club Treasurer) as un unbroken yearling to replace her horse Sovereign West who had to destroyed after a bad accident that he broke his shoulder blade and femur.

When Pixie arrived From Perth WA. on the 4th November 1994, she was a tiny foal, just over 11.2hh and had already won the hearts of the horse transporter drivers as she was such a ball of mischief and had an outgoing nature, and for such a young horse was so easy going and appeared to have no fear. It was because of this outgoing mischievous nature that this little gal ended up with the stable name "Pixie" and believe me Leeanne couldn't have named this filly any better, the name suits her to the ground as if there's any mischief to be in, she's right in the middle of it .

Being the baby of Leeannes' stable she was made a fuss of by both Leeanne and the others as well as the other horses, who made her look so tiny as they where all over 16hh. But this cheeky little Arab, never let that worry her and as tiny as she was she paired up with the biggest horse in the yard "Kadenzer Chevelle " and became stable boss.

Leeanne started training this filly when she was two, started by mouthing her, then long-reining and then finally breaking her to saddle (which she took in her stride never bucking once), she was a pleasure to train as she had such a sweet disposition, and absolutely nothing worried her.

Leeanne trained this little lady, with a kind hand and now they are an unspeprateable team. Anything that Leeanne asks this mare to try she gives her whole heart and tries her hardest as she has complete faith and trust in Leeanne as she as in Pixie.

Over the six years that Leeanne has owned Pixie she has competed in several shows both ridden and in hand. also these two are regular participants in the gymkhanas in the area as well.
